Published by the Japan Society of Microgravity Application (JASMA), the Journal of the Japan Society of Microgravity Application contributes to the activities of members and supporting members by publishing original papers and articles on theory, experimental testing, techniques and equipment development that enrich research in microgravity applications as well as research results in a variety of academic fields. In addition to publishing past editions of the journal in book form, we have considered publication of an electronic edition of the journal and the present state of services with the aim of further improving services to our membership. We arrived at the conclusion that the ideal approach would be to publish an electronic edition of the Journal (eJASMA Journal), maintaining as much as possible the format of the printed journal. Approval was obtained at the meeting of the Board of Directors and the General Meeting in March 2009. As a result, we started carrying a trial edition of the eJASMA Journal available to all members on the website. In April 2010, we launched the official edition of the e-journal and it is our plan to enrich the content, with the aim of producing a user-friendly JASMA Journal.
